ChannelFix

My first role in tech — an internship at ChannelFix.com (now rebranded HQZen), an event platform for hosting interactive contests and challenges. I worked across two stints: leading a competition-winning intern project, then joining the core platform as a developer.

Virtual classroom (Front-End Developer Intern)

• Pitched and led a Twitch-inspired virtual classroom for live, interactive learning — proposed for an internship competition and built by a three-person team.
• Integrated live streaming and real-time video with OpenTok for two-way instructor–learner interaction.
• Built the interface with Vue.js and Vuex, and led the team to win the competition's top prize.

Platform development (Web Developer)

• Refactored legacy HTML and CSS into reusable Vue.js components, improving scalability and maintainability.
• Worked with Python / Django for backend integration.
• Contributed to ChannelFix's core event-creation and contest-management features.
